General Worker

General workers, on the day of the ball, will have the following responsibilities:
  • Clear up throughout the evening
  • Act as runners for the committee when the need requires

End:3:30am, 11th February 2018
Breaks:A single one hour break or two 30 minute breaks
Pay:£42.50 for under 21s; £50 for over 21s
Application Deadline:23 November 2017 9AM (Open)

Food and Drinks

Food and Drinks workers, on the day of the ball, will have the following responsibilities:
  • Preparation and presentation of food and beverages throughout the night
  • Follow hygiene standards throughout the evening
These workers will need to be trained prior to the ball on handling food and hygiene.

Ents Worker

Ents workers, on the day of the ball, will have the following responsibilities:
  • Supervising activities for the safety of participants
  • Running activities throughout the night
  • Monitoring and providing help for the acts of the evening

Health and Safety

Health and Safety workers, on the day of the ball, will be responsible for the welfare and safety of guests. This will include, but not be limited to:
  • Keeping guests warm and dry whilst queuing
  • Monitoring the number of guests and ensuring fire routes are clear
  • Providing assistance in an emergency
These workers will need to be trained prior to the ball.

Area Supervisors

Area Supervisors, on the day of the ball, will be responsible for a small group of workers on behalf of the committee. This will incude:
  • Ensuring workers are in the correct position
  • Ensuring workers are conducting their duties as expected
  • Looking after their workers' welfare and reporting to the committee should any problems arise
